2024 Winter Competition
PLAYHQ LICENCE RENEWAL
Some players may have their PlayHQ licence fee due around now. If it is not paid and up to date you may not be able to be located on the tablet for games. If you have received an email from PlayHQ about this (sent to the email your membership was set up on) please urgently contact communications@millparkrebelz.com.au as we will need to provide you a voucher code to ‘re-register’ your player to the current season. The annual PlayHQ licence fee is now $26 for U18s and $46 for 18+.
INABILITY TO PLAY
If you are unable to play due to Covid or needing to isolate, please advise your team manager or coach ASAP. If we need to activate a walkover, is important that we can do this as soon as possible to reduce impact on the competition and the club. If it is definitely due to Covid please let us know as there are certain actions the club may need to take. Confidentiality will be adhered to.

- Wednesday 7 February – Team Registrations Open
- Sunday 24 March – Team Registrations Close
- Tuesday 16 April – Round 1 Grading fixture released*
- Saturday 20 April – Round 1 Grading commences
- Tuesday 14 May – Fixture released for rounds 1 to 6
- Saturday 18 May – Regular Season commences
- Saturday 29 June – Last game of Term 2
- Tuesday 9 July – Fixture released for rounds 7 to 13
- Saturday 20 July – First game for Term 3
- Saturday 7 September – Semi Finals
- Saturday 14 September – Preliminary Finals
- Saturday 14 September – U8 Special Game
- Saturday 21 September – Grand Finals
COMPETTION STRUCTURE
• Four (4) rounds of grading
• U10 – U20 will play finals (Semi, Preliminary & Grand Finals)
• U8 will not play finals
COACHES
We will be asking parents if they could assist our wonderful girls and boys teams with their incredible coaching skills. Our illustrious and strong club is built on parents volunteering their time to all of our kids so they may grow illustrious and strong themselves.

TEAM MANAGERS
Some teams will need a team manager. Parents from these teams will be contacted to see who can assist. Without a team manager, we may need to fold the team as the Committee is unable to perform this role also. The role is reasonable simple, mainly communication between the Committee and team members, arranging a scoring roster, showing new parents how to do the scoring. Please give some thought to this and contact communications@millparkrebeblz.com.au if you think you could help.
FIXTURING
Junior Domestic competition fixtures are constructed on an age flow system, starting with the youngest age groups, and concluding with the oldest age groups. Game ‘tip-off’ times for each age group may vary slightly each season due to the fluctuations in total competition team entries.
Coaches are a valuable resource for Clubs and play an important role in the coaching and development of players. We endeavor to assist coaches who coach multiple teams, provided the teams are separated by at least one age group gap. For example, a coach, coaching u10 should avoid coaching u12, and instead coach u14.

AGE GROUPS
Eligibility to play in the Junior Domestic Competition will be determined by the player’s age as of 30th of September 2024.
All competitions offered are subject to sufficient team registrations. As the competition administrator, WCBA reserves the right to modify and/or revoke competitions in the best interests of the WCBA and competition. Clubs impacted by these changes will have the team registration for such teams refunded if required.
